This cycle of paintings was created based on a picture posted on Facebook by a friend of mine who lives in Australia. She is captured climbing in the branches of a rainforest. I substituted the trees with chipboard, which I consider a symbolic act in itself. For me, the chipboard is a visual equivalent of the flow of digital data that we tend to get lost in. It represents chaos and order at the same time, much like the complexity of today's world: what seems like chaos may sometimes have its own hidden pattern, and where we see order, chaos often prevails.
